What is Spatial Tracks?

Spatial Tracks is an app for Apple Vision Pro that turns songs from your Apple Music library into fully three-dimensional, spatial environments — visual experiences built around the mood and structure of each track.

What do I need to use it?

You'll need an Apple Vision Pro. Most experiences play through your Apple Music library — or turn on External Audio Mode in Settings to use your own music source instead, no subscription required.

Do I have to pay for every track?

No. Spatial Tracks includes several tracks at no additional cost, including The Firebird Suite Finale, Breathe, On the Run, Time, and The Great Gig in the Sky. Additional tracks — Money, Us and Them, Any Colour You Like, and Brain Damage · Eclipse — are available as one-time purchases in the Spatial Tracks Store.

Can I create an experience for any song in my Apple Music library?

Not yet. Spatial Tracks currently features a curated catalog of hand-built environments rather than generating one automatically for any song. We're focused on making each experience feel intentional rather than generic.

Can I use my own music instead of Apple Music?

Yes. Turn on External Audio Mode in Settings to play any experience with visuals only, no in-app audio — great for a vinyl copy, a different streaming service, or any other source. No Apple Music subscription is needed in this mode.

For example, to play Time from Spotify instead of Apple Music:

1. In Spatial Tracks, open Settings (the gear icon, top right) and turn on External Audio Mode.
2. On your iPhone or another device, open Spotify and cue up "Time," paused at the very start.
3. Back in Spatial Tracks, go to the Library and tap Time to begin.
4. You'll see a "Start your music now" 3‑2‑1 countdown — hit play on Spotify right as it reaches "1," or tap Start Now the moment you start your own audio.
5. The visuals begin immediately after, so starting your audio right at the end of the countdown keeps everything in rough sync.

The same steps work for a vinyl record, a CD, or any other streaming app — just swap in whatever you're playing from.

How do I stop a track or exit an experience?

Use the Stop button in the Library, or press the Digital Crown on your Apple Vision Pro at any time — both fully close the experience and return you to the app, ready to start another track.

Is my data private?

Yes. Spatial Tracks only accesses your Apple Music account to play the songs you already have access to. We don't track you, show ads, or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do refunds work?

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

I found a bug or have feedback — who do I contact?

We'd love to hear from you. Email hello@spatialtracks.com and include which track you were playing, what happened, and your visionOS software version if you can — it helps us track things down faster.

A song looks glitchy or incomplete right after I download it

Apple Vision Pro can occasionally struggle with a "cold start" — loading a brand-new environment the moment a download finishes. If a scene doesn't look right the first time, stop the track, fully restart Spatial Tracks, then play it again. This clears it up in almost all cases.

A song won't download, or gets stuck downloading

Make sure your Vision Pro has an active Wi-Fi connection and enough free storage, then try again from the Store. If it's still stuck, restart Spatial Tracks and retry — you can also use Reset & Reinstall Downloads in Settings, which clears all downloaded content and re-downloads everything you own from scratch.

I don't hear any audio

Check that you're signed in to Apple Music with an active subscription, and that the song you selected isn't playing in External Audio Mode (which is visuals-only by design). You can find the External Audio Mode toggle in Settings.

I reinstalled the app and my purchases are missing

Your purchases are tied to your Apple ID, not the app install. Open the Store tab — owned songs should show as available to re-download automatically. If not, try restarting the app once you're signed in with the same Apple ID you purchased with.
